On Sunday, Feb. 17th, at the 12:00 Latin Mass, we will have some special guests including one who will speak to us in the Parish Hall after Mass. Coffee and donuts will be served. This promises to be a very interesting presentation, an apostolate that we should all know about, and will take approximately 30 minutes.
Erick Sandstad from Lexington, KY is a Consultant for Development for Roman Catholic Traditional entities. In seeking to expand traditional apostolates, his very professional work involves connecting people in order to build strong networks that can form a united front and work together with creative ideas for promoting the traditional faith, especially the Holy Mass. His background also includes successful funding for traditional needs.
Erick is bringing Mary Popp from Dayton, OH. She is the Director for SPORCH (Society for the Preservation of the Roman Catholic Heritage). Her work involves preserving our Latin Mass traditions, such as producing the Mass Cards for all priests and bishops in America. Cardinal Burke in Rome has asked her to reach out by printing materials that will help evangelize priests. She recently presented this apostolate at the Eucharistic Congress in Ireland. http://www.sporch.org/
Mary is the one you want to contact when searching for unique or antique Catholic items as well as art works. We are very excited and honored to have her present her work to us in Louisville and we hope we can use our association with her to help expand the influence of the Gregorian Mass far and wide in our city and throughout the world.

This exhibit is a collection of new illuminated, re-mastered and original antique Tridentine Latin Mass altar cards including the sub-rites such as the Dominican, Carmelite, and Ambrosian. These cards are used to aid the clergy in the celebration of the Mass.
Our purpose is to educate, appreciate the art, explore the history and provide a basis for continued use into the future. Not only do they have a religious basis, but the general public can appreciate the fine craftsmanship of the sacred works. The history of many regions can be explored through the art in the sub rites.
